docs add documentation fixes from #1285 2007-02-18 16:46:46 +00:00
include Reorganize kernel configs - target/linux/*/config is now a directory. ./config/default will replace the old config and config-diff (format is like config-diff, the full kernel config is no longer kept in the build system) This commit removes all the kernel config stuff, the next one will add the replacement - there's no way to do this atomically with svn. 2007-02-22 03:44:15 +00:00
package Move aodv-uu to trunk/ 2007-02-20 23:39:33 +00:00
scripts rename the Profile template that the image builder uses to prevent name conflicts with the template that the kernel uses 2007-02-22 02:27:01 +00:00

toolchain Fix ipv4/ipv6 resolving. When not using AF_INET, gethostbyname2_r tries to resolve an ipv6 address from /etc/hosts using __get_hosts_byname_r, but with AF_INET instead of the supplied address family. This returns ipv4 addresses marked as ipv6 ones. 2007-01-27 15:13:06 +00:00
tools Remove getline definition for OSX since we ship a getline implementation 2007-01-05 15:29:21 +00:00
BSDmakefile
Config.in Add initial version of the new Image Builder It's still a bit rough in a few places, but it seems to work for Broadcom at least - other targets untested. 2007-01-10 21:52:28 +00:00

This is the buildsystem for the OpenWrt Linux distribution

Please use "make menuconfig" to configure your appreciated
configuration for the toolchain and firmware.

You need to have installed gcc, binutils, patch, bzip2, flex, bison,
make, gettext, pkg-config, unzip, libz-dev and libc headers.

Simply running 'make' will build your firmware.
It will download all sources, build the cross-compile toolchain,
the kernel and all choosen applications.

You can use scripts/flash.sh for remotely updating your embedded system
via tftp.

The OpenWrt system is documented in docs/. You will need a LaTeX distribution
to build the documentation. Type make -C docs/ to build the documentation.

Building your own firmware you need to have access to a Linux, BSD or MacOSX system.
Cygwin will not be supported because of the lack of case sensitiveness.

Sunshine!
